Walmart has set a goal of opening over 80 new HIV-focused Specialty Pharmacies of the Community before the end of the year:

“Each SPOC is located discretely within a Walmart pharmacy and offers services including discussing treatment options, conversations around mental health, sharing resources and helping navigate insurance options. Walmart pharmacies see about 150 million customers each week, giving the retailer an opportunity to reach people who might not otherwise have access to or feel comfortable seeking HIV care through its SPOCs.“
