Meet Your Teacher

Scott Benedict is an accomplished retail merchant, educator, consultant, author, advisory board member, keynote speaker, and digital retailing executive with more than 35 years of diverse experience spanning traditional brick-and-mortar retailing, eCommerce, omnichannel, and international retail merchandising and operations.
Scott was a founding member of Walmart’s first eCommerce team and served as the Director of Site Merchandising & Web Analytics for SamsClub.com, as well as senior roles at BestBuy.com and Groupon.  He also served as an Executive Professor and the Director of the Center for Retailing Studies at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.  He sat on the Advisory Boards for the Texas Retailers Association, the Dallas-Fort Worth Retail Executives Association, and the Northwest Arkansas Tech Summit.  Scott also hosts a podcast series titled “The Digital Front Door” as a Contributor to Doing Business in Bentonville, an organization dedicated to promoting and educating the community on omnichannel retail.
