Jeff’s retail career began in magazines as the Newsstand Sales Director for Pack-O-Fun, Inc. It published six consumer crafting periodicals that were distributed through hundreds of retail chains, large and small. During that time, Jeff called on key national retail accounts, including Walmart. He later led the $11MM business as its publisher and independently brokered its sale to Amos Press, Inc. in 2006. In 2007, Jeff launched an online golf video game, which he sold to World Golf Tour in 2010. He purchased 8th & Walton in 2014.

Christi Martin has 20 years of expertise in various accounting roles across several industries. Her leadership and guidance provide 8th & Walton clients with unique perspectives into Walmart’s Accounting/Deduction Management and Recovery and Invoice Accuracy processes, as well as other supplier accounting areas. Christi’s team is credited with many successes in Supplier Accounting and Monetary Recovery, recovering hundreds of thousands of dollars. Accounting and the Dispute Portal are areas of the Walmart business in which many suppliers have a large knowledge gap, but these are critical to their overall business success. Mark Stallcup is an accomplished and dedicated supply chain development leader with 37 years of experience in merchandising replenishment, supply chain process, and technology development & integration at Walmart Stores Inc. Mark led teams to develop perpetual inventory and replenishment functionality enabling category growth, inventory flow, and retail shelf availability. Mark recently served as a Senior Project Manager on the Global Replenishment Solution rollout at Walmart. He helps suppliers optimize their forecasting and deployment to Walmart networks and can help evaluate solutions for distinct supply chain needs.

Terry Clear was at Walmart for nearly 10 years, five of which were on the GRS project, starting with pre go live foundational work, later working with the database to migrate external data into the Walmart data warehouse. While on the GRS project, Terry earned a supply chain patent for a process improvement for perishable product in the Walmart Express stores. Later, Terry moved to the Walmart Transportation/Logistics Division as a Senior Manager of Merchandise Logistics for Consumables, Health and Wellness. As Merchandising Logistics Manager, Terry was responsible for solving supply chain challenges including ship point alignments, prepaid or collect analyses, new supplier transportation onboarding, pack analyses, and optimization of the supply chain for multi supplier private label products. He has been providing guidance to Walmart suppliers at 8th & Walton for 7 years.

Scott Benedict is an accomplished retail merchant, educator, consultant, author, advisory board member, keynote speaker, and digital retailing executive with more than 35 years of diverse experience spanning traditional brick-and-mortar retailing, eCommerce, omnichannel, and international retail merchandising and operations.
Scott’s retail merchandising career included more than 25 years in the Consumer Electronics and General Merchandise categories before his more senior merchandising roles expanded his reach into Grocery, Pets, and CPG businesses and across specialty, wholesale club, mass, and catalog retail. Scott was a member of the founding team for Walmart Online, the predecessor to Walmart.com, and spent more than 18 years in various roles within Walmart and Sam’s Club.
Scott is the author of an upcoming book on digital merchandising and is a frequent guest speaker and writer on retail webinars, podcasts, as well as print and broadcast media interviews on the state of modern retailing in the omnichannel age.
Scott was named a Top Retail Expert by RETHINK Retail in 2023 and 2024 and is a member of the RetailWire BrainTrust.

Heather Reid worked for Walmart Canada for 22 years prior to joining Canada’s 8th & Walton in 2016. While at Walmart, she organized and facilitated its Retail Link® and various system-training programs for both internal and external Walmart customers. She also facilitated a four-day supplier training session on a bi-weekly basis, teaching over 2,000 Walmart suppliers. She has a vast knowledge of Replenishment (GRS) and is an expert in Retail Link® and in Accounting for both Walmart US and Walmart Canada. In addition to her deep knowledge of retail systems, Heather is an extraordinary teacher. She holds a diploma in Human Resources, Marketing, and Accounting and has held the Canadian Human Resource Leader (CHRL) designation.

In 1992, she became CEO and president of the publishing company which produced a dozen craft titles as well as a PBS televison show. During that time, she worked closely with Walmart to develop special fall promotions for her magazines. Marie was listed in Who’s Who for over twenty years. She joined 8th & Walton in 2013 and is its Director of Education.
